LUAS
A 4km spur from the Red Line to Citywest is under construction.

There will be 5 stops on the line, 3 on the Campus, one will have a park and ride facility with spaces for 300 cars. The other stop is at the Riverwalk and the third one is at the Shopping Centre. All the stops on the extension will serve all the residential housing estates, improving the infrastructure for the whole area. The programme is an 18 month build of the tracks and 6 month commissioning. We look forward to the first Luas arriving in Citywest in 2011.
